33rd Annual Sheridan Lake Campout- Hosted by The Other Side and Unentitled Groups (West River Area NA in SD)

From Rapid City, go about 14 miles west on Sheridan Lake Road. Look for the sign to the North Shore of Sheridan Lake and go left on N. Beach Rd. This will be best route due to construction on Hwy. 385, which will be passable, but probably gravel in this area. OR from Highway 385, turn east on Sheridan Lake Road. Go 1/3 mile and turn right on N. Beach Rd.  If there’s someone in the entry booth, tell them you’re going to the Squirrel group campsite to avoid paying a fee. Follow the road along the north shore of the lake — past the marina and around the curves. Look for “Group Camping” and “Squirrel” signs.  GPS may say “Sheridan Lake North Cove”
